Following the call of music since early age. After going through academic trainings in music since childhood (voice, rhythm, guitar and saxophone) Amalua felt deeply in love with the instrument Handpan where she can combine her passion for music through her skills in composition as well as the intuitive approach in improvisation. Exploring scales and combining them to find new harmonic and melodic possibilities, create rhythms and combine it with her unique voice.
Amalua plays the HANDPAN since 2005 (HANG of 1st generation by then) and shared her music in different continents, fusing her music with other musical roots, specially in South America.
Amalua brought her Handpan to South America in 2006 where she lived for several years, learning from the richness of music cultures, specially fascinated by the deep presence of rhythms.
There she also met her partner Pablito Bertone (recording the first album) and since 2009 they are creating magic together through their music.
